ESNNA Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Girls, Boys and Adolescents in Tourism.
The ESNNA Code brings together rules, policies and guidelines promoted by the Peruvian State to prevent the sexual exploitation of girls, boys and adolescents in the tourism sector.

Tourism should never be used to facilitate abuse. We do not promote, tolerate or permit the sexual exploitation of girls, boys and adolescents or any other criminal activity in our operations.

Committed to girls, boys and adolescents
In accordance with our internal policies and the comprehensive development philosophy for partners and suppliers, Andean Peru Treks is committed to the following actions.
No harmful information
Not provide information to visitors about places where organized or actual commercial sexual exploitation of minors occurs, whether directly or through intermediaries.
Safe transportation
Avoid transporting tourists to locations where sexual exploitation of minors is practiced, including accommodations or vessels where such activities are tolerated.
Vehicle Control
Avoid renting vehicles on tourist routes to people who could use them to abuse or sexually exploit minors.
Access Prevention
Prevent minors from entering bars, accommodations, hotels, and other tourism establishments when there is a risk of abuse or exploitation.
Team Responsibility
Take firm action to prevent any worker or associated staff member from offering tourism services that facilitate sexual contact with minors.
Reporting Mechanisms
Ensure internal reporting mechanisms and promptly inform MINCETUR and the competent authorities about places linked to exploitation.
Internal Policies
Develop and share internal policies with measures to prevent and combat the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism.
Staff Training
Periodically train staff on preventing the commercial sexual exploitation of minors.
Traveler Awareness
Inform travelers about the serious legal consequences in Peru for abusing or sexually exploiting children and adolescents.
Visible Code
Display this Code of Conduct and protection commitments in visible areas accessible to staff.
Legal consequence in Peru
In accordance with Law No. 28251, Andean Peru Treks formally informs visitors that the sexual abuse and exploitation of minors constitute a crime in Peru and are punishable by law.

At this agency
We do not promote, tolerate or permit the sexual exploitation of girls, boys, and adolescents or any other criminal activity during our operations, in strict compliance with Law No. 29408.
If you are aware of any case of sexual exploitation of persons under 18 years of age, report it immediately.
Act
If you know something, report it.
If a girl, boy or adolescent may be in immediate danger, contact the authorities without delay.
Do not confront a suspicious person or expose the minor's identity. Share the available facts directly with the competent authority.
