Itinerary of the tour to the Humantay Lagoon in 1 day

This day begins with the pick up from your hotel between 4:30 to 5:00 am, we will board our mobility to travel northwest of the city of Cusco to the town of Mollepata, this trip will show you the lush valley of the Apurimac River.

In this small and picturesque town we will have a well-deserved breakfast to fill us up with energy, then we will continue our trip to the starting point of the hike, the village of Challacancha  which is at an altitude of 3,600 m.a.s.l (11,811 feet) after a brief rest, we are going to walk towards the Humantay lake located at an altitude of 4,180 m.a.s.l (13,714 feet), after the ascent of 2 hour 20 min approximately we will be able to appreciate the wonderful landscape, after the explanation of our guide and to take the memory pictures.

We will have a time to enjoy the place and finally return to Challacancha place, enjoy of our delicious box lunch and will be transferred to the city of Cusco.
