Day 3 begins with a look at the impressive salt mines of Salineras / Maras. The local economy is based on the salt obtained from thousands of salt pools that act as evaporation chambers. Later, the day continues with a tour of the Inca Archeological Center of Moray and Chincheros. You will learn about terraced cultivation techniques used by the Incas. In addition, you will see a colonial church and visit a textile center.
